Ceiling fan

We are in the middle of the spring here in the south of heaven, and it's too hot already. Almost 30ºC (86ºF) in the afternoon. In the other hand women are wearing less clothes, but, well, as if we'd need another reason for sweating :-P Hihi.
I hate air conditioners, those dry my eyes, which still can see 20/20 after decades of reading and receiving display's radiation, so I take care of them. My ceiling fan is still in the lower speed, as you can see, down here. :-)

O wind, rend open the heat,
cut apart the heat,
rend it to tatters.

Fruit cannot drop
through this thick air—
fruit cannot fall into heat
that presses up and blunts
the points of pears
and rounds the grapes.

Cut the heat—
plough through it,
turning it on either side
of your path.

Hilda Doolittle, "Heat".

I once read that one that fears mirrors has fear of oneself.

The joke-like comment I did about mirrors came out of an ancient chinese legend, which includes tigers, the yellow emperator, the people of the mirrors, and a war. Very chinese and appropriate for a joke about antropomorphism and duplicity in personality.
Borges fakes an encyclopedic article for the phrase "mirrors and copulation are abominable because they increase the number of men", (in "Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis tertius"), master of the perplexities and dilemmas of living as he was, inserts the idea as a quote of one encyclopedia: conceptually, an encyclopedia is a mirror of the world.
However I was just making a joke about duplicity in personality; I use to do that. Runnerfrog is a double of someone else. And that someone else of someone else's too.

But the player likewise is a prisoner
(The maxim is Omar’s) on another board
Of dead-black nights and of white days.
God moves the player and he, the piece.
What god behind God originates the scheme
Of dust and time and dream and agony?

At a chilly 41ºF here, 86º sounds incredibly perfect, you lucky, lucky Argentinian.

More lucky today than yesterday C. because it's 70ºF (21ºC) and a light warm rain is falling down right now. And Schumann is playing.

Well! Sounds just dreadful, I'm terribly sorry for you... (pulls sweater closer)

But I have Schumann as well.
