Abstract Nº 92

Across our universe of steady stars,
Of maypole planets tethered to the sun,
Sometimes a wonder flies.
And this is dizzying –this is perfection:
Importunate body no more than a comet's tail
Following behind
The strong swift golden rushing of heart and mind.

Jan Struther, "The comet".
