Creatures of the Light Nº2 and Nº3

Two organic art creatures, siblings of sleepless nights, text messages, love and books altogether, in a measure of each that only an alchemist should know.

somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near

your slightest look easily will unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens
(touching skilfully,mysteriously)her first rose

or if your wish be to close me,i and
my life will shut very beautifully, suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descending;

nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility:whose texture
compels me with the color of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens;only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands

e e cummings, (LVII).

if everything happens that can't be done
(and anything's righter
than books
could plan)
the stupidest teacher will almost guess
(with a run
skip
around we go yes)
there's nothing as something as one

one hasn't a why or because or although
(and buds know better
than books
don't grow)
one's anything old being everything new
(with a what
which
around we go who)
one's everyanything so

so world is a leaf is a tree is a bough
(and birds sing sweeter
than books
tell how)
so here is away and so your is a my
(with a down
up
around again fly)
forever was never till now

now i love you and you love me
(and books are shutter
than books
can be)
and deep in the high that does nothing but fall
(with a shout
each
around we go all)
there's somebody calling who's we

we're everything brighter than even the sun
(we're everything greater
than books
might mean)
we're everyanything more than believe
(with a spin
leap
alive we're alive)
we're wonderful one times one

e e cummings, (LIV).

I really like these new images you're creating. They look very 'sci-fi', possibly creatures from an alien world. The complexity makes them super interesting. They can easily accompany a really cool futuristic yarn (story).

Perhaps tiny creatures living in a tiny universe within another tiny universe, and so on...

Here I go, rambling on again. I got caught up in the 'tiny universe'. Your works transport me to other worlds!

Watch out with my tiny universes, there's no place for deodorants.

Yes, all of it.

It may be a strange smelling universe, but the creatures that inhabit it are delightfully weird. I can't tell if this one is coming or going as it bends back on itself like a Mobius band. And are those eyes that are watching me or pearls to be harvested around the edges. If eyes, then you can name it "The Beholder"

D'oh! I only saw the second creature on that post when commenting.

The first one looks like one of your water creatures from your first Waterworld. More benign, s/he lives on sunlight and plankton.

Lives on sunlight and plankton, like most of us argentinians in poverty ;-)

Just noticed, as I scroll down on this one, it moves, like the turning of a wheel. And no, it's not the drugs--they wore off hours ago! :)

runnerfrog said...

You have no wheel power to resist drugs.

Your ability to translate your humor into a language you've not studied, never ceases to amaze me!

Weely!

If you weely welieve it, I wheel welieve it too.
