Star-shell

"A moment's brightness in the sky", wrote MacGill. Tomorrow, in hours, starts the springtime here in the south, and me... here... with this winter-oriented thoughts... springtime is coming; our springtime must come.

A star-shell holds the sky beyond
Shell-shivered Loos, and drops
In million sparkles on a pond
That lies by Hulluch copse.

A moment's brightness in the sky,
To vanish at a breath,
And die away, as soldiers die
Upon the wastes of death.

Patrick MacGill, "the star-shell".

This image looks as if it could cut the finger that crafted it. Very nice. And moody.

Oohhh! los vicios son algo terrible :-D Reconozco el sentido de eso porque leí el historial de tu blog... muy humano, muy hermoso.
Que tengas un buen fin de semana, con la gente que amas.
