Crystal ball II

Digressing: All the past is here, all the future is here; we are the best we've been, we are the best we can be. I want to know what the future is "concocting" for me, but it is all weaved around...
Before, years before, I had some special relation with the future of other people. I might get the courage to speak out openly of that some day.

In me, past, present, future meet
To hold long chiding conference.
My lusts usurp the present tense
And strangle Reason in his seat.
My loves leap through the future’s fence
To dance with dream-enfranchised feet.

In me the cave-man clasps the seer,
And garlanded Apollo goes
Chanting to Abraham’s deaf ear.
In me the tiger sniffs the rose.
Look in my heart, kind friends, and tremble,
Since there your elements assemble.

Siegfried Sassoon, "In Me, Past, Present, Future meet".

Absolutely stunning!! The sphere looks like a drop of water on Autumn leaves. For some reason, this is a very powerful image. Great work.

You are extremely kind, dear Dzeni.
Water drops on autumn leaves are known to be the crystal balls made by nature to foresee when the springtime will be back. :-)

I was about to write that this was stunning to, but wouldn't want to copy dzenis comment. So i'll just say that this is one of your most fantastic pieces of art to this day!

Hi, Leif. You've been more than kind by just stopping by :-) Without mentioning your praising comment.
To this day, the things that I do that people likes are always surprising me. People likes the ones I don't put great attention to; and the ones I think that will like, do not. This pushed me to post everything, without considering if I like the piece or not. It also makes me thing that if I work in a more apathetic way, I might get better results :-D
I believe I'm in a creative blockage since two months already, while I was working with two professors in improving the way to create 3D images with genetic algorithms, and also some personal problems arised.

3D images with GA.. Hmm, that sounds really funny. What have you guys come up with yet? Something publishes/viewable online?

Myself i'm thinking about either a Neural Network solution or a GA-solution to simulate people in different situations, being able to simulate mobs for example...

Leif, yes, there is something, my one and only posted about it yet, while I was feeling dizzy and stressed with it, first results, not original enough to continue over that way:

And about the neural network "mob" simulator, do please never present that in Argentina, we have enough in real-time :-) And very bad day to mention it, today is general elections day here, don't give them ideas or they will improve their corruption by simulating environments! (If you believe that is a rant, you surely need to read our news about corruption then, LOL).

Oh my fuck, that is some amazing cool art... GA and NN is my passion, and NN atleast a part of my job ;) So i really enjoy your work!

Didn't know you where from Argentina, but not even on this side of the Atlantic we have missed that you have an election today. Actually pretty big news. And, corruption is an illness sickening most of the world.. Terrible.

Hope the day will be calm and safe for you and your countrymen!

You cursed in my blog! You cursed in my blog! :-O :-)

Thanks, but not for cursing in my bloggie.

The day has been very calm and safe... but news of fraud has been spread in towns and villages. Some people discovered that they "already voted" when they went to vote. We need electronic vote, so our polititians will improve their fraud methods :-P

:-D I *think* I know what you are referring to in particular, with that about corruption, Tai, LOL but I'd not bite the bait of saying a word about other country politic issues.
I will admit she's energetic, yes, and has a very atractive logic and speaking abilities, (in high contrast with her husband and actual president). I voted another woman, who finished second in the poll; was an election defined between two women, and a third force led by one man, ex-minister of economy. Even so, I have the hunch that she'll do an excelent job.
